If you have not had the opportunity to fly ERA do so.  I did not have a choice after Alaska Airlines canceled my flight to Anchorage, I had to fly ERA.  It was worth it!

ERA uses a DASH 80 type aircraft.  There are only 2 seats on either side of the aisle, unless you want to layout in the back of the plane.  in which case there are 4seats in a row.  The DASH 80 also has a lavatory, I did not check out.  There is also a Flight Attendant on board and they serve drinks.

Flight time to Anchorage is 1 hour and 15 minutes.  No security pains and you only have to check-in 40 minutes prior to flight time.

Don’t get me wrong ERA has some kinks to work out, but after my last few flights on Alaska Airlines they are a great alternative!
