Money it seems to make the world go around and around. Who should get paid the most, or what is fair compensation?
Should what you get paid be based on what you do, how you do it, or just how much the market can bear? Should police officers and teachers be paid the same wage?
I don’t like anything to do with sewage. Hence, when I need the septic pumped, I call the pumping and thawing guy and I just pay the bill. The guy doing that job has not only my respect but my money. Does that make him more important than a brain surgeon or does it mean that I am just lazy? More importantly what motivates someone to take up a career in the sewage industry? It can’t be just the money. Maybe it is the smile on the homeowners face when they had over the check…
At the end of the day regardless of what you make wage wise, I don’t think that it makes anyone truly happy( life, easier perhaps). There will always be that one extra toy we need or want.
What do you think?
